Following the parliamentary developments on Brexit in Parliament this week, Martin Whitfield MP has issued an open letter to constituents providing an update on his stance and outlining his views on the newst steps necessary to prevent a no-deal exit from the EU.
Martin Whitfield MP said:
“Many constituents have contacted me regarding the events of the last few days and my stance on the various votes that have taken place in Parliament. I am responding to them individually, but wanted to make my reply available to all constituents.
“I am fully committed to removing the current Prime Minister and securing a Labour Government. However, the timing is crucial and I will only support an election when we can securely take ‘No-Deal’ off the table. It is for this reason an election must not take place until after 31st October.”
